About Me
I'm someone who enjoys building things — tools, systems, and occasionally, websites like this one. My interests sit at the intersection of technology, productivity, and clear thinking.
What I'm Interested In
I spend most of my time thinking about how to use technology to work better, not just faster. This includes AI-assisted workflows, knowledge management systems, and developer tools that respect the user's time and attention.
I'm particularly drawn to tools that are simple, local-first, and built around plain text. I believe the best software gets out of your way and lets you focus on the work that matters.
How I Work
I build small, focused tools to solve problems I encounter in my own workflow. Rather than adopting large platforms, I prefer to understand the problem deeply and craft a minimal solution.
My development philosophy centers on a few principles:
- Start with the simplest thing that could work
- Prefer plain text and open formats
- Build for yourself first, then generalize if needed
- Write code that's easy to understand and modify
Current Focus
Right now, I'm focused on:
- Building and refining my personal productivity system
- Exploring how AI can assist with knowledge work without replacing judgment
- Writing about what I learn, both technical and non-technical
Beyond Code
Outside of building things, I enjoy reading — mostly non-fiction on technology, design, and thinking. I believe that good ideas come from diverse inputs, so I try to read widely and outside my immediate field.
I also think a lot about how we learn and how to build sustainable practices for growth. Learning in public — sharing what I'm figuring out, not just what I've mastered — is something I'm actively practicing.
